PAS 55: Publicly Available Specification published by the BSI (British Standards Institution)

This PAS gives guidance and best practice on asset management, typically this is relevant to infrastructure, gas, electric and water utilities, road works, public facilities like airports and rail stations and to transport organizations. While not required in other (non-regulated) industries PAS-55 is getting a lot of interest. It shows promise to become a defacto world-wide specification for any organizations seeking to demonstrate a high level of professionalism in managing their physical assets.
