Malaysia firm, partner unveil $215 mln HCMC project

Vietnamese property firm Sacomreal and Malaysian developer Gamuda Land announced Monday plans to jointly develop the 82-hectare Celadon City in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Phu District.
The $215-million mixed-use development will have a shopping mall, office space, sports facilities, schools, and 7,000 housing units.
Construction is expected to begin next month and sales of the residential units will be in the second quarter of next year.
It is Gamuda Land’s second project in Vietnam after the Yen So Park in Hanoi.
