Health & Safety Online Courses & Assessments / Tests: Non-Industry Specific

The Core courses (10 hours) qualify for credit towards the Safety Practitioner (SP) certificate. The Elective Course Series requires (12 hours) of training time (equivalent to 8 Electives) to obtain the Safety Specialist (SS) certificate. Upon completion of the Core and Elective Series of online courses, the Safety Technologist (ST) certificate requires (10 hours) from courses in the Enrichment Series. This advanced certificate offers CRSPs and ROHs a solution to easily and inexpensively obtain compulsory certification maintenance points to preserve their designations. The University of Calgary Continuing Education will award up to 30 hours of credit towards their EHS certificate upon completion of the THRIL certificate programs. Please note: successful completion of assessments do not qualify for credit towards the SS, SP, and ST certificates and you will only have one attempt to pass the assessment.
